Shoplifting and Choking...

I know you wouldn't think these two things fall in the same category, but on Saturday they did. On Saturday we visited one of my favorite places to kill time, Target. I always get a popcorn and a Diet Pepsi and then walk around the store, it is a great way to pass an hour. I actually had a few things I needed to get so I headed to the baby area to get pull-ups and formula and Nathan wandered over to mens clothing. Everything was going well until I noticed Kate was coughing, I didn't think anything of it because her new thing is to pretend she is sick and does a really cute cough, anyway, I noticed she wasn't pretending she was really coughing, no choking and her face was changing colors. I ran to the back of the store where Nathan was and proceeded to do all my training with that sort of thing, all while Nathan was trying to help me but at the same time fight with Carter about who knows what. I was really starting to get scared and said a little prayer, I did a finger swoop and Kate gagged and finally out came a piece of popcorn.

I was a little stressed out so we decided to leave, I grabbed the pull-ups (forgot the formula) and headed to check out. I had let Carter pick out a few things from the dollar bins for Brenda's birthday, when we got up to pay we could only find one so we had assumed the other one fell out with all the chaos. So we payed for our Items and went out to the car. When we got out to the car I unloaded Kate and then took Carter out of the cart, when I noticed the other Item that we didn't pay for was under Carter. Carter noticed it and started crying because we didn't pay for it. (in the past I have told him that if you ever steal, the police will come and get you and you will go to jail) so Carter was freaking out because we had taken this thing and we were all going to jail. Nathan had to run back into the store to pay for the pink sparkly bouncy ball and show Carter the reciept to prove it was paid for.

Needless to say Kate is still alive and wont be having popcorn for a long time and no one is jail and I'm pretty sure we never have to worry about Carter shoplifting.
