**note to reader: I'm not even kidding about any of this, none of this is exaggerated after reading this you can see I do not have the time to sit and make this up**
8:30am: Katelyn is still asleep. Which is unusual for her she is usually up by 7:30. There is usually a calm before the storm, so I know it's going to be a long day.
9:30: Katelyn is finally awake. I get her in her high chair and give her breakfast. I go back to the kitchen to get her juice I find that she has feed all her breakfast to the dog.
10:30: Carter has been playing with blocks all morning, he has built a very elaborate town the takes up the whole family room. Kate promptly pretends to be Reptar (he's from Rugrats) and runs through the family room knocking down the entire city. Carter starts to cry katelyn give him a hug and kiss which surprisingly smooths things over...until she throws a block at his head.
11:00: While I am doing laundry I hear the pantry open. I get out to the kitchen just in time to see katelyn spill a whole bag of chocolate chips on the floor. While I am sweeping it up kate is trying to eat as many as she can. I have never seen somebody move so fast.
11:10 I come back into the kitchen after putting the broom away just in time to see that kate has helped herself to the pantry again. This time she found a bag of beans. Guess what she did with it as soon as she saw me. That's right the whole bag all over the floor.
11:30: peace and quiet for now. There's 2 things katelyn will sit still for; The wiggles and Sesame Street.
12:00: I decide to do something fun for lunch so a made pizza. I get the kids up to the table and give them their lunch. When I turn around I see that Kate has Fashioned a hat out of her pizza and had a piece balanced on top of her head.
12:30: Nap time! My favorite part of the day. Katelyn is in bed but I can hear her yelling no. I don't know who or what she is yelling at but it's not me, so I don't care
3:00: Naptime is over. Darn! Time for snack. I get out the goldfish and pour some on kate's tray I then go to switch the wash. All of Kates snack is gone, I look on the floor; nothing, the dog is outside so she didn't feed it to her. Wow what a good girl.
3:15: Time for a diaper change. Guess what I find shoved down her diaper? A handful of goldfish.
4:00: I have just realized that it is quiet. No good can come from this. I find Katelyn in my room with by glasses...broken in half.
5:00: Time to feed the dog. Today this was Carter's job. When he comes in from the garage with the bowl of food Katelyn runs over and knocks the dish out of his hand causing it to spill all over the floor. Once again, I have never seen someone move as fast as Kate did to gather dog food.
5:30: As I'm getting dinner ready Katelyn is emptying cupboards and drawers. I let her watch Sesame Street one more time
6:00: Dinner time. Katelyn's not hungry. I'm guessing its because she had the dogs dinner earlier.
6:30: Bath and jammie time. I love that Kate goes to bed at 7pm
7:00: Bedtime! The highlight of my day!
Sometimes I wonder about my life before my kids. I must have been really bored, because I didn't have all this to take care of. Kate keeps me busy, I wouldn't trade it for anything

Wow!! And I think I'm busy!! ;D
I didnt need that "disclaimer" I believe every word of this! LOL! But you gotta love that girl!
It sounds like a little girl that came to live with me 28 years ago!
Can you hear me laughing all the way from Cebu? Except not the glasses part. Sorry...oh pain! I'm glad you chronicled this day, because it will be soon (not soon enough today) that she'll just want new clothes and an ipod or cell phone. I'm just sorry that between sweeping up her messes you couldn't get some pictures in. I love you! You are ALWAYS in our prayers! Motherhood--have you seen the September Ensign? What you're doing is essential and we are garateful for your commitment. I guess Sandi is very fond of Kate, right? Mom XXXOX
