So...What do you do all day?

I once had someone say to me "so, what do you do all day?" After I went through a list of my daily tasks he said "So, it's pretty easy then?" So here was my day today. This is a typical Monday.

Carter and Kate wake up. They have breakfast. Carter gets dressed and heads off to school.

After Carter leaves for school Sam gets up and is ready for breakfast.
He is not thrilled with the fact that I stopped feeding him to take a picture.

After everyone is fed and happy it's time to get stuff done.

Before:
After:
Carter is such a good boy he always makes his bed and does an excellent job at it.
Katelyn's room is always a chore. I'm not sure why I bother, it will look
like this again in 20 min.

Before:

After:

Next to the kitchen to clean up any messes from last night and this mornings breakfast

Before:

After:
At around 10:30 I finally convince Katelyn to get dressed
More cleaning

After:

It was a little difficult to get things done today. Sam is teething and just wants to be heldCarter gets home from school, and before lunch he puts on a Globe Trotter Show.
It last a little to long.

Lunch time. I serve a very nutritious meal of Top Ramen, Chicken Nuggets and peas

Finally it's rest time! But not for me.
I get to do my most favorite thing (read sarcasm) fold laundry!
This isn't all of it. There is one load in the washer and one in the dryer

After Rest time we have snack and play. Then I start to make dinner.
Tonight Carter requested Fried Rice.

After dinner it's bath time!

Tonight we had Family Night. Katelyn was in charge of the music

Our lesson was on blessings

After family night we read scriptures and said prayers. Now all the kids are in bed, except Carter, he keeps coming out of his room. That was my day I just get tired of thinking of it. And i get to do it all again tomorrow! I don't get paid, it's not easy , but I love it and wouldn't trade it for anything.

***oh yea, I also changed 6 diapers and cleaned pee off the bathroom floor....twice***

You do a great job. Your pay is the blessings you get for teaching your children the gospel! Love you!

I'm impressed! My house doesn't get that clean very often.
