Sam is our active child. His usual daily activities include: climbing in the dishwasher, climbing in the washing machine, pushing buttons on the washing machine unrolling the toilet paper, cleaning the kitchen floor with the toilet brush, digging in the trash, taking books off the shelf and throwing them on the floor, emptying cupboards, eating scentsy, I could keep going but I think you get the idea.
Anyway, yesterday Sam climbed up on the table, a usual occurrence, to play with whatever stuff was up there. Usually I would get him down right away, but on this particular day he was entertained and was being quiet. Sometimes when Sam is being quiet and really not hurting anything, I just look the other way. We both win. He thinks he is getting away with something and I got the kitchen clean.
Oh, and while Sam was on the table he ate a whole pack of gum, wrappers and all.
